Media Ministry

A Reflection Of God's Creativity.

At Christ Cathedral, we communicate God’s love in a practical way that is relevant to the needs of today’s generation. The Media team are in charge of marketing and productions, and are a vital part of our church as we intend to share our message beyond the walls of the church. As such, the goal of our marketing and production team is to capture what’s happening at our church and share it to the world!

Serving on this team provides you with an opportunity to communicate God’s messages in a creative way through various channels.  The ministry responsibilities  include, among others: photography and videography (capturing and editing), AV production, website and apps development, and social media marketing.

Broadcast - Video Control Room Operator

Serving in the control room by managing color, lighting, and the live broadcast feed to ensure smooth streaming that impacts both onsite and online congregations.

Requirements: 
– Male/Female
– A heart and commitment to serve
– Interest in Broadcast/Live Streaming
– Basic computer skills
– Good team communication skills
– Must attend training sessions

Broadcast - Camera Person (Campers)

Serving by capturing live video footage during services to highlight moments of worship and ministry that impact the congregation.

Requirements: 
– Male/Female
– A heart and commitment to serve
– Interest in Broadcast/Camera work
– Good physical health and stamina
– Good team communication skills
– Must attend training sessions

Broadcast - Photography & Documentation

Serving by capturing the best moments of the church through photography for documentation, promotion, and ministry memories.

Requirements: 
– Male/Female
– A heart and commitment to serve
– Interest in Photography
– Good physical health and stamina
– Good team communication skills
– Must attend training sessions
– Must own a camera and lens to be used during service

Graphic Design

Serving through creative visuals and graphic design to communicate God’s message in a compelling and relevant way across all church platforms.

Requirements:
– Background in design or equivalent experience
– Access to phone/tablet/laptop and design software (Adobe, Corel, Canva, etc.)
– Submit portfolio upon request

For those under 20 years old will be directed to serve in the same field at Atmosphere Teens.

Video Productions

Serving by planning, recording, and editing video content to support church activities—services, worship, event documentation, campaigns, and testimonies. Works closely with the Media Team and ministry leaders.

1. Videographer
Capturing high-quality video for church activities and campaigns.
Requirement: Video camera, portfolio, placement test.

2. Video Editor
Editing short and long videos for social media and promotions to deliver God’s message in a powerful and relevant way.
Requirement: Adobe/Davinci Resolve, portfolio, placement test.

3. Motion Graphic Designer
Creating visual animations to support worship, digital communication, and livestreams—including intros, lower thirds, and worship lyrics.
Requirement: Adobe, Blender, portfolio, placement test.

For those under 20 years old will be directed to serve in the same field at Atmosphere Teens.

YouTube Management

Serving by managing the church’s YouTube channel, including:

1. Live Chat during Online Services

2. Closed Captions: Transcript, Translate, Timestamp

3. Rise Up Content:
Writing text for Voice Over devotional verses
Creating devotional verse slides
Setting Premiere for Rise Up on YouTube

4. Sermon Marking/Chapters

Requirements:
– Ability to write clearly and politely in Bahasa Indonesia
– Familiar with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
– Good written English skills and YouTube experience are strong advantages

Marketing

Serving by creating communication strategies and digital campaigns with creative, relevant, and impactful messaging. Collaborates across teams—design, video, YouTube, and social media—to reach and inspire more people.

1. Copywriting
Writing captions, digital content, campaigns, and internal communication.
Requirement: Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and relevant style; basic understanding of storytelling.

2. Social Media Content Creation
Developing creative content ideas for social media and digital campaigns.
Requirement: Creative in turning ideas into digital content; understands content production workflow (concept to execution); familiar with creative tools (Canva, Capcut, etc.).

3. Social Media Admin
Managing the church’s social media accounts, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and maintaining consistent communication.
Requirement: Detail-oriented, responsive, and familiar with social media dynamics; able to write captions and respond to DMs/inbox politely.

4. Campaign Management
Developing campaign concepts and strategies to support ministry, events, and church messages.
Requirement: Ability to develop campaign ideas from concept to execution; understanding of target audience and digital platforms; creative, visionary, and collaborative in brainstorming sessions; able to prepare campaign briefs.
